Everything is exactly as it was left… the half-read newspaper, the untouched coffee, the coat hanging by the door. It feels as though the owner simply stepped out to buy a loaf of bread and will return any minute. Yet dust has claimed the rooms, silence has swallowed the halls, and the years have passed without a single footstep. Perhaps the strangest thing about this abandoned house isn’t that everyone left… but that it still feels like someone is expected home.
