Beliard, Oostende

In the famous old Beliard-shipyard in Oostende the first ship was ready in 1923. The activities at the shipyard lasted till the '90.

After the shipyard was closed the first idea was to use it as a exhibition place, but that was rejected very fast. They started to use the buildings as storage place. (several small fires were also present)

In 2008 Pascal Lagrou started with the construction again of large yachts and small inland ships. So he was able to restore the shipyard honour.
